Lights!
Camera! Jewelry!
From
day one, Lizzie
Scheck has been destined
for the red carpet. Whether having a successful
career in film and television production
or designing show-stopping jewelry for
celebrity style icons, Lizzie’s
talent and star quality is undeniable.
A former casting director – she
received an Emmy Award nomination for
her work on the critically acclaimed ABC
television program “Once and Again”
– Lizzie channeled her creative
talents to design jewelry, a passion she
realized while studying in Florence during
college.
Lizzie began designing jewelry as a hobby,
but her talent was quickly recognized
and she soon turned it into a business,
aptly named Lizzie Scheck Jewelry. Armed
with her innate sense of style and her
knack for putting actors in the right
scenes and accessories, Lizzie was nominated
for an ACE “Rising Star” award
from the Accessories Council in 2002.

Parker donned her pave diamond horseshoe
necklace on HBO’s Sex and the City. |
Since arriving on the jewelry scene, Lizzie has
developed a committed celebrity clientele, and
is regularly sought after for her unique and personal
designs. Whether bridesmaids’ gifts for
Kate Beckinsale or personal pieces for Ashley
Judd and Amanda Bynes, the stars know who to call!
Her designs routinely grace the silver screen,
seen in the acclaimed feature films such as Lost
in Translation and Shall We Dance. No stranger
to the red carpet, Lizzie was recently recognized
by Life & Style Magazine as Best Star Jeweler
in its 2005 Stylemaker issue.
Never a fashion diva, Lizzie’s charming
personality is reflected in each of her designs
– warm, personable and approachable pieces
that instantly draw people in and make them feel
special. Her feminine and often whimsical designs
are based on her juxtaposition of the vivid colors
and rich textures seen on the streets of her old
hometown New York (and new home, Hollywood) with
the classic notions of adornment from her Italian
studies. Handcrafted in platinum, gold, diamonds
and colorful precious gemstones, Lizzie’s
pieces are a glittering collection of personal
emblems that are delicate, layerable and completely
wearable.
Lizzie designs to reflect and enhance the unique
style of the wearer. “Being a designer is
all about being an individual. I never follow
a trend simply because everyone is craving it
– I design pieces that I believe in and
that represent me,” says Lizzie. “Style
is a means of expression and is how you present
yourself to the world.”
Lizzie Scheck Jewelry
has also hit the retail red carpet, selling in
top luxury department stores such as Neiman Marcus,
Barneys New York and fine boutiques across the
country and internationally. Lizzie is a member
of the Women’s Jewelry Association and was
a keynote speaker at the prestigious Gemological
Institute of America. Previously, Lizzie was co-founder
of Mia & Lizzie.
